Our “Passion for Sound” Story

As the creators of dB9PRO, we believe that ideas can change the world and that everything great began with a little idea that eventually became reality. We have always felt a great need to help and lift others through caring deeds, words of inspiration and encouragement, and the power of our music.

We met in India where we were both involved in social work for 30 years. During that time of service, we were also making a living working as music producers, singers, and playing in a band. We are passionate about making music and spreading messages of hope and positivity.

As musicians, we used to carry little tape recorders around to capture ideas for songs that came into our heads. The problem was that the sound quality wasn’t very good or reliable. Often, those important tapes were lost or damaged. Hence, the search for a better sound recording device was born.

We wanted to have a way to capture those special moments in life when inspiration strikes, or to capture special memories and sounds – to immortalise them by recording them.

We created our dB9PRO voice recorders to be small, portable, easy to use and record several hours of audio.
